1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, registering, or using the StayGhar mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept any part of these Terms, you must not use the app.
2. Purpose of the App
StayGhar is a mobile application created for homestay owners and property managers to:
- Manage property inventory
- Track guest check-ins and check-outs
- Update room availability
- Record payments and cancellations
- Facilitate smooth communication between owner and guest
3. Eligibility to Use
You must be:
- At least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to operate/manage a homestay or guest accommodation
- Able to provide valid documentation (e.g., ID proof, property proof, bank details)
4. User Responsibilities
By using StayGhar, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and updated information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Use the app only for lawful purposes and not for fraudulent or misleading activities
- Not misuse the platform to cause harm to any guest, system, or user
5. Permissions and Device Access
To function efficiently, StayGhar requires access to:
- Internet – to sync data, bookings, and updates in real time
- Contacts – to communicate with team members or guests directly
- Camera & Media – to upload property photos and documents
- Phone/SMS – for OTP login and booking confirmation messages
- Location – to map your property or for app-based services
You may revoke permissions anytime, but doing so may affect app functionality.
6. Ownership and Intellectual Property
All content, logos, software, and branding in StayGhar are the exclusive property of Sujata Leisure Pvt. Ltd. You are not permitted to:
- Copy, reproduce, or modify the app or its content
- Sell or distribute the app
- Reverse-engineer or extract source code
7. Payment and Financial Records
- Any financial data, such as guest payments or deposits, logged in StayGhar is for internal use only.
- We do not directly process payments through the app unless specified otherwise.
- You are solely responsible for complying with your local tax and regulatory obligations.
8. Data Privacy
All personal and business data collected through the app will be processed according to our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your information to third parties. You agree that we may:
- Share data with our sister companies for promotional or technical purposes
- Retain session and booking data for business and legal compliance
9. Cancellation and Record Keeping
The app allows:
- Manual cancellation of bookings
- Reason logging for each cancellation (for your internal records)
- Historical tracking of booking activity
StayGhar is not liable for disputes arising out of cancellations between owners and guests.
10. App Updates and Modifications
We may update or upgrade StayGhar to:
- Improve performance
- Add new features
- Fix security vulnerabilities
You agree to keep the app updated. We are not responsible for issues arising from outdated app versions.
11. Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal conduct
- Submit false documents or impersonate another business
12. Limitation of Liability
- Loss of business due to incorrect data entered by you
- Technical issues caused by third-party systems
- Losses or legal disputes arising from guest-related issues
Our maximum liability under these terms is limited to the amount paid (if any) for the use of the app.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal.
14. Miscellaneous
Severability: If any section of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will apply only to that specific part. The rest of the Agreement will remain fully valid and enforceable.
Jurisdiction: This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. Any unresolved disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
Changes to This Agreement: StayGhar reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes indicates your acceptance.
Confidentiality: Any information marked as confidential must not be shared unless required by law or necessary to fulfill the agreement.
User Feedback: By using the app, you consent to being contacted by StayGhar for feedback. If you do not wish to be contacted, email privacy@stayghar.com.
Privacy Policy: Please refer to our detailed Privacy Policy for how we collect and use your data.
Grievance Redressal: If unresolved, you may escalate the issue to our Grievance Officer with your complaint ticket ID after 30 working days.

As a responsible platform, we act as both a data controller and data processor, ensuring that your data is managed with the utmost care and transparency.
This Privacy Policy outlines how StayGhar and its associated entities handle, store, and secure your personal information (“Personal Information”), whether collected online or offline.
This policy applies to all individuals and property (Hotel, Homestay, Resort etc.) owners (“Users”) who access, browse, inquire about, or use any products or services offered by StayGhar through our digital and physical touchpoints. These include (but are not limited to) our mobile app, website, customer service helplines, and partner offices—collectively referred to as "Service Channels".
"You" or "Your" refers to the User.
"We", "Us", or "Our" refers to StayGhar.
"Platform" or "Website" refers to our mobile application, website, and related digital interfaces.
By using any of our platforms or contacting us through any service channel, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, we respectfully advise you not to use our services or share your personal information with us.
Please note: This Privacy Policy applies only to StayGhar’s own services and platforms. Any third-party links or partner platforms you may interact with through StayGhar are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their terms and policies separately before engaging with them.
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of your User Agreement with STAYGHAR and all capitalized terms used, but not otherwise defined herein, shall have the respective meanings as ascribed to them in the User Agreement.
Type of Information We Collect and Legal Basis
To deliver our services effectively and responsibly, StayGhar collects certain categories of personal and non-personal information from you, the user. This collection is necessary not only for offering our core functionalities, but also to comply with applicable laws and fulfill obligations to our service partners.
Personal Information We Collect
- Full name, gender, date of birth, marital status, profile photo
- Email address, mobile number, address, and emergency contact details
- Identification documents (such as Aadhaar, passport, PAN, etc.)
- Payment and billing details (credit/debit card numbers, UPI ID, payment history)
- Travel details and booking history
- Guest or co-traveler details you submit on their behalf
- Uploaded files (IDs, booking documents, invoices, etc.)
- Contact List Access – for booking and inviting guests
- Internet Access – for syncing and real-time updates
- PAN, passport, or other IDs when legally required
- Feedback, surveys, or support interaction data
Note: StayGhar never shares or sells sensitive personal data without your prior consent, unless required under applicable law.

Opt-Out and Deletion

- IMEI/IMSI – unique device-user link
- SIM Serial – match SIM and UPI
iOS Permissions
- Notifications – for booking and alerts
- Contacts – enable social recommendations
- Location – auto-detect cities and hotels

Eligibility to Use StayGhar Services
